Vegas Cannabis Lounges: What to Know Before You Go

Las Vegas finally offers legal, comfortable places to consume—if visitors know the basics. Nevada’s rules are strict: lounges are 21+ with valid ID, alcohol and tobacco are prohibited, purchases are capped per transaction, and you can’t leave with unconsumed cannabis. Expect designated smoking rooms with serious ventilation, and staff trained to guide dosing and prevent overconsumption. Rideshare is your friend; impaired driving remains illegal.

What’s open right now

Dazed! Consumption Lounge (inside Planet 13): 2548 W Desert Inn Rd, Suite 130, minutes off the Strip. Posted hours run Mon–Thu 12pm–12am, Fri–Sat 11am–1am, Sun 10am–1am. The vibe is art-forward with “canna-cocktails,” flower, concentrates, and small-group or private packages. It’s a state-licensed lounge paired with the Planet 13 dispensary, so purchasing happens on site.

Sky High Lounge at NuWu: 1235 Paiute Cir, just north of Fremont Street in Downtown. Operated by the Las Vegas Paiute Tribe, Sky High sits on sovereign tribal land—with its own regulatory framework—and features dab bars, a rooftop terrace, mocktails, and frequent events. Hours commonly stretch to 2 a.m., with earlier weekend openings.

Why the rules matter

State regulations shape the experience. Lounges must keep consumption out of public view, confine smoking to sealed rooms, and meet robust air-exchange standards. They can only sell single-use or ready-to-consume products, follow serving limits, post health warnings, train staff, provide free water, and maintain plans to reduce impaired driving. In practice, that means menus lean toward measured doses, service is conversational, and staff will politely slow you down if needed.

Know your limits (literally)

Nevada caps each sale in a lounge to protect newcomers: up to 3.5 grams of usable cannabis, 300 mg THC in inhalable extracts across items, and 10 mg THC per edible serving. You may place multiple orders, but they’re recorded as one final transaction, and any unconsumed product must be destroyed before you leave. Alcohol, tobacco, and nicotine are banned on site.

How a visit works

Arrive with a government-issued ID and plan your ride. Expect check-in, a host to explain the menu and devices (Puffco, glass, etc.), and a designated smoking room with strong ventilation. Ask for mocktails or lower-dose options if you’re easing in. Because the law pairs a lounge with an adjacent dispensary, assume on-site purchase rather than BYOC. Water is complimentary; staff are trained in dosage, delayed onset, and recognizing overconsumption. If you’re sensitive to smoke, request seating outside the smoking room or at open-air areas like Sky High’s terrace.

A quick status note

Las Vegas’ first state-licensed lounge, Smoke and Mirrors, ceased operations in April 2025. Today, Dazed! is the only open state-licensed lounge in Clark County, while Sky High continues under tribal oversight.
